Melissa to speak on university panel about crossing cultures

Melissa will join a virtual panel at Brandeis University in Boston.

I am looking forward to speaking virtually at an upcoming panel on crossing cultures at Brandeis University in Boston. I will join two fellow panelists with expertise in global business: Sheila Pisman, who is part of the international marketing rotation at Merz Therapeutics in Frankfurt, Germany, and Kefei Wang, a Global Business Manager at TTI Success Insights in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is an honor to join such accomplished professionals, and we anticipate meeting very interesting students and hearing insightful perspectives and questions. As guest speakers, our goal will be to provide some background about our own global work, to give the students an idea of how they might use their own educations. Then, the main focus will be to provide advice, tips, and anecdotes which will illustrate key aspects of what it takes to work successfully across cultures. One part of this, which I specialize in, is in learning how to adapt enough to be successful, without adapting so much that you lose yourself in the process. We thank Professor Andy Molinsky for the invitation, and we can’t wait to see everyone soon!
