Melissa presents on global travel

Melissa presented on Global Travel to the community of Tempe, Arizona.

Although much of our work is focused on helping organizations and executives succeed in a global business environment, we also believe that a global mindset is important at the personal and community level.

Travelling abroad does not guarantee that one will develop cultural competence, but in the words of American author Mark Twain, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

Public presentations like these are designed to plant the seeds of curiosity and encourage residents to expand their horizons by experiencing world cultures in person. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
